It was announced back in December of 2014 that SETX arena rockers, Forever Falls, would be returning to do what they do best. While all of the details in regards to the line-up were released, along with a mysterious setlist that was posted… not much else has been said. Today, May 8th, 2015 a conversation between guitarist Patrick McNerney and vocalist/guitarist Adam Caillavet lays out the proposed plans. I’ll capture the fine points in text and leave the video for you to check out the rest! Also, at the end of the video, you can view what I can only assume is the band’s new logo:
-Currently, there is only 1 show planned (proposed to be in Orange, TX) and they’re trying to plan it for this Summer (June, July or August)
-They’re wanting to do a fan-picked set list… which is incredibly exciting!
-They’re wanting it to be with local legends Knuckle Deep
-They’ve got former guitarist Matt Johnson on board and are going to try to talk with former drummers Derek White and Joey Payow (currently in As Above So Below) to perform together on a couple of songs they were involved in
-The whole event is likely going to be recorded, in documentary fashion, and put on YouTube for fans to relive.
-There are plans to record at least one more song, possibly a Forever Falls EP
Forever Falls last show was July 21st, 2012 which featured The Hunger, Knuckle Deep and Angel Siren. The line-up that night was as follows:
Adam Caillavet – Vocals/Guitar
Chris ‘Kik Talley’ Fregia – Keyboard/Guitar
Danny Broussard – Bass
Aron Boyle – Drums
The band’s 4th studio album (and last to date), Big Vision For a Small World, was released in December of 2010 and featured 5 new songs, along with 6 fan favorites. The studio line-up for that album is the same that will be returning to the stage when this show takes place. The last singles the band released were “The Beatdown”, which was handed out at shows on a CD-r and “Send in the Clowns” which is available for free download on their ReverbNation page. I’m more than certain there will be PLENTY of crowd participation opportunities so… break out your favorite Forever Falls albums and make sure you’re singing along!
