I don’t know much about Highland, and that’s probably because they’re brand new. This is their first song released and while a tad rough, is very promising. With an acoustic guitar and calming drum beat accompanying a haunting tale of soldier who’s killed more than he would like to admit. Don’t come expecting high quality production as this is just a rough track for a single release. I can’t blame them because they’re not big, but I see good things in their future. The instrumentals are solid and the vocals (while a little iffy at times) are pretty great and the roughness of his voice is a nice touch and fits the song meaning well. I highly recommend checking this one out.
