ANNOUNCEMENT: Furious Fresno Act FAROOQ Release Album and Summer Tour Details
Chances are, if you’re reading this article, you’re here because you’re into heavy music—and we aim to bring you the heaviest of the heavy. Because of this, we’re proud to announce the Tag Title Tour, occurring in the latter half of July this year. As you might have guessed, it stars two of the hardest-hitting up and comers from the western heavy music scene: the furious Fresno-based heavy hardcore powerhouse Farooq and Tuscon’s most terrifying heavy hardcore act, Low Roads.

Farooq are touring in support of their sophomore full-length record, The Faction, set to release physically and on all digital music outlets July 7th. Preceded by the three-track 2016 demo, Heel and the band’s 2013 debut album, The Truth, Farooq have been making tidal waves in the underground heavy hardcore community for years now, culminating in a ruthless appearance on the most recent single by blackened slamming ultra-heavyweights, Methwitch and a sprawling west-coast tour. Those unfamiliar with Farooq’s unique and authentic breed of bone-busting brutality and brash, no-holds-barred aggression are in for a treat, as The Faction is sure to turn the heavy music world on its head if Heel is any indication.
