NY’s Aphasia has evolved their sound, leaning more toward the melodic hardcore side of the spectrum, with their new single “Empty Head.” Previously known for their abrasive, aggressive and downright rowdy metalcore, this track sees the band step out of their comfort zone and into a more emotional head space. Djent elements, along with some killer guitar melodies play into the song’s atmospheric background. These give way under vocalist Jake’s powerful, commanding and explosive vocal style to create a one-of-a-kind experience for the listener.
