Your Band Could Play The Biggest One-Day Festival in the US
If you’re not living under a rock, I’m more than certain you’re aware that 98.9 The Rock KQRC’s ROCKFEST 2015 is fast-approaching… with that, comes a slew of new things to do: An interactive vendor village, TWO zip lines this year and the newly announced 3rd stage, sponsored by Jagermeister! The best part? That stage will be showcasing 5 of the best unsigned local bands in the area! Has it been your dream to play Rockfest? YOUR BAND CAN PLAY THE JAGERMEISTER STAGE
Every year at Rockfest, we add new attractions to help make the festival bigger and better! For 2015, one of the biggest additions is the Jägermeister third stage! Located near the main entrance, the Jägermeister Stage will feature the best unsigned rock bands in the area. How do we know they are the best bands, easy, you will vote for them!
To have your band play Rockfest, submit a video at www.989therock.com. If you have a slick video, great! If not, no problem. You can submit a lyric video or something weird you think represents your band. The quality of the song is much more important than the quality of the video. Band submission will be taken through midnight April 30th.
From May 1st – 15th, listeners will vote on the video submissions. The top five bands will get to play the Jager Stage at Rockfest 2015! Simple enough!
Rockfest is loaded with record execs looking for new talent. It’s our sincere hope that a play on the Jägermeister Stage could lead to one of our area bands getting a record deal!
