Crown the Empire Drop New Single, “MZRY”, Announce Long-Awaited Fourth Studio Album

Society has become overrun by fascination with technology. Regardless of what we’re doing in life, we just can’t seem to live without it. It is this dependency that has become the subject of many songs these days and how it will lead to our undoing. For Crown the Empire, this subject was explored through their single, “20/20” and becomes a central theme to what encompasses their fourth studio album, Sudden Sky. Today, the band finally answered the question “when is a new album coming out?!”. Sudden Sky will release via Rise Records on July 19th and will be the first sans-Dave Escamilla release in their catalog since their debut EP, Limitless. In addition to that, they premiered an animated music video (AMV) for the song “MZRY.” Below, you can find the official press release and you can be sure to keep an eye out for our review, closer to the album’s street date.
