Bands like Parkway Drive, The Amity Affliction, Make Them Suffer and many more lay their heads to rest in the “land down under” known as Australia. The continent is a breeding ground for positive energy, good vibes and insane talent but none more than the genres of rock and metal. It is for this reason that it should be no surprise that Crystal Ignite has returned to the scene with an incredibly powerful and uplifting new single, “Everything You Break.” This track sees Ignite in one of the most vulnerable states she’s ever been, lyrically and really speaks a lot to her character. While the track, musically, is fairly tame in nature… it doesn’t take away from the fire you hear in her voice. The track was premiered via today and you can read a quote directly from Crystal below:

“This is one of the most emotional tracks I have written, it’s a tragic love song, a break up song, all about realizing that the person you loved was not who you thought they were…Having Ben Moody featured on guitar makes this track even more special…the breaking Evanescence album he co-wrote was extremely influential on me in the early stages of my career, and is a true honor” – Crystal Ignite

Ignite was formerly in a band called Bellusira, which featured Will Hunt (Evanescence) and Koichi Fukuda (Static-X). Having shared the stage with bands like Halestorm, Seether, HellYeah, The Misfits, Flyleaf, Hed PE and many, many more on the festival circuit… she’s anything but a rookie to the stage and she’s got a hunger in her heart to share her art with the world. She will release her new EP later this year and, if her live streamed demos are any indication… there’s a lot of fun stuff to look forward to for fans of both the heavier AND softer sides of her voice. She has signed a worldwide licensing deal with Sony/ATV, so expect more music much sooner than later.
