DECIDUOUS RECORDS Signs Post-Rock Shoegaze Act HOME INVASION
Deciduous Records has announced the signing of North Dakota Post-Rock duo HOME INVASION. The label announced the signing via social media:
“Today we welcome @homeinvasionus to Deciduous. A 2 piece US Post blues out of North Dakota. Their new song “Porch Light” off their upcoming release “1986” can be heard now. There will be a limited amount of clear cassettes of “1986” and can be preordered now at the Deciduous or Home Invasion bandcamp. Enjoy!!!”
The band announced the signing as well:
“After years of scheming, creating, erasing, re-creating, changing, growing, and working endlessly – I am incredibly pleased to finally announce that Home Invasion’s debut album “1986” will be available through Deciduous Records on May 27th of this year. You can stream our single “Porch Light” anywhere you listen to music, and you can also pre-order a limited tape on Bandcamp.”
The atmospheric track, produced, mixed, and mastered by Joe McElroy, opens with ambient noise underneath a news bulletin about a home invasion, before giving way to pained vocals over minimalist instrumentation. The song slowly crescendos until it finally erupts in the final minute. “Porch Light” is currently playing across all major streaming platforms. Listen to the song now on Spotify or on YouTube below.
