Nothing More Deliver New Track , “Turn It Up Like” as an Unapologetic Rejection Of A Digital Drowned State Of The World
This has seemed to be more of a “digital” era than previous years. The theme has been addressed by a variety of bands across genres, but it’s been more common this year on the rock charts, with Shinedown, Smile Empty Soul, and Papa Roach all writing songs about social media, civil unrest, and cancel culture.
Nothing More seems to want to throw their views into the ring as well now with their new track, “Turn It Up Like” which is a “fitting in-your-face hard hitting return from the group”, giving fans a long awaiting view of the new album.
“This song is about how we’ve felt for the last two years, online. Fear and Hate have become our god.”
This is just the top of the iceberg for the band with a album on the horizon with many layers to explore. The project is the highly anticipated follow up to their 2017 album, “The Stories We Tell Ourselves” which earned the band three Grammy nominations, including “Best Rock Album“, “Best Rock Song” and “Best Rock Recording“ for the single, “Go To War.”
“Turn Up Like” is now available to stream and download across platforms here:
Nothing More’s Jonny Hawkins spoke about inspiration in a statement, saying, “This song is about how we’ve felt for the last two years, online. Fear and Hate have become our god.”
