Exclusive Premiere: Horcrux Are “Resilient” Against the Odds

While his primary band, A Skylit Drive, is still very much alive and well… Michael LaBelle had a very trying experience with the formation of his new project, Horcrux. Coming together with members of fellow Ottawa bands Of Reverie (Scott Norris, Danny Boisvenu, Ryan Shields) and Here Comes Bigfoot (Zack Bray) and using his strengths as an unclean vocalist, they write music to show how perseverance as an artist, even in the face of dying passion, is anything but impossible. This music is heavy, in your face and brings about a message of hope, against all odds. Today, we are proud to premiere the video for their brand new single, “Resilient!” They’ll be playing some shows very soon (dates below) and offering fans much more in 2017, so be on the lookout. This is just the beginning for Horcrux and we’re excited to be on the journey with them.T

“Resilient is a song about my dying passion for music. When I came back from my last tour, I felt defeated inside, that I had failed at the one thing I strived for, for so long. After dealing with constant struggles for a full year, the passion inside me that was dead, came back to life.
