Jared Cox, soon to be known by his stage name JCO, is a 16-year old rapper from the Kansas City area. Listening to him, you wouldn’t believe his age because his lyrics, delivery and precision in what he does, put him alongside some of the best in the rap game today. He recently had a video shot for his debut single, “No Chance” by Tristen Lang of Tristen Lang Productions (who also does all video work in the KC area for New Transcendence) and we’re proud to help them premiere it today! Get ready to get those speakers bumping with the premiere of the video, which you can watch below!
On the release of the single, JCO had the following to say: This one was just a lot of fun for me to make. I think No Chance should be a fun song for everyone. Unless you don’t like bad language.. then you’re fucked.
Tristen Lang also goes on to say: On behalf of Rellik, Bonzomatic and Tristen Lang Productions we cant express how thankful we are for New Transcendence giving us the opportunity to premiere our work and especially with it being out of their comfort zone especially with JCO being the first of everything in hip-hop and rap.
He recently stepped on stage for the first time at The Roxy, as courtesy of Rellik Tha Chopper, who was performing a headlining show that night and he blew the crowd away with an acapella verse from the single.
