The song is featured on key Playlists @ Spotify, Apple Music, Slacker Radio and Google Play, among others.
The band plans to tour for the rest of 2018 into 2019. New Transcendence was able to catch up and have a moment with leadman Crispin Earl before his show in Corpus Christi at Boozers w/ Rendered Heartless
Toney Emmons (New Transcendence): Hey Crispin, It’s good to finally talk to you. Thanks for reading my review of Decade 2 Rock and Acoustic!
Crispin Earl (The Veer Union): Yeah bro, it’s good to talk to you too! Your welcome!
Toney Emmons (New Transcendence): How has Corpus been treating you, since you’ve been in town for your show at Boozerz?
Crispin Earl (The Veer Union): It’s been great, We had mexican and I gotta tell you, it was great!
Toney Emmons (New Transcendence): Is it a relief you can go into places and be able to chill and relax without people recognizing you?
Crispin Earl (The Veer Union): You have no idea, it’s always nice to walk into places like Wal-Mart and not be recognized, but its cool if I am. I love the fans.
Toney Emmons (New Transcendence): So you are playing with my homies in Rendered Heartless tonight, What bands have you played with that maybe you were a fan of before?
Crispin Earl (The Veer Union): I can’t say ONE in particular but we have a tour coming with Red, Sky Harbor and I can honestly tell you, I’m more than excited for this tour. We will be tour support for Red and we as a band love them.
Toney Emmons (New Transcendence): I saw you got a new bike and had some trouble.
Crispin Earl (The Veer Union): Yes, the oil pan got jacked and I tried to change it myself and it didn’t work out and I had to pay more than the original cost to get it fixed. Word of advice to any musicians that have bikes. Pay the money. Haha. Its better in the long run.
Toney Emmons (New Transcendence): Did you get to enjoy it, in the end?
Crispin Earl (The Veer Union): Oh yes! I had a trip planned before the mishap with the oil pan happened. I was literally able to get it fixed the day before we were going to head out. Funny thing, I ended up getting a flat tire, in the middle of nowhere but thankfully it was able to be worked out with a patch and we were able to enjoy the rest of our trip down the Oregon coast.
Toney Emmons (New Transcendence): Was your approach on the Linkin Park cover of, “Numb” always set in your mind as an acoustic?
Crispin Earl (The Veer Union): We really wanted to do a cover the way The Veer Union would do that cover. It did not make sense to do a rock version of that song. We thought it would sound too much like the original. I feel like doing it as an acoustic version conveys a deeper connection between the lyrics and music. I think that we achieved that.
Toney Emmons (New Transcendence): I definitely agree, the response has been fantastic for it. Is there anything you’d like to tell the fans?
Crispin Earl (The Veer Union): It really has, I’d like to say we couldn’t be more happier and we thank you guys for making it happen with all the shares, Facebook likes and Spotify streams. The fans have been amazing. Thank you.
