Review: Lee Brice – I Don’t Dance (Single)
Artist: Lee Brice
Album: I Don’t Dance – Single
Rating: 5/5
I’m not much for love songs, especially those in the country genre. Anyone who knows me, knows that, every once in awhile, a country love song catches my ear. Lee Brice’s “I Don’t Dance” is definitely one of those songs. I don’t know much about him, other than he had a couple really popular songs, “Parking Lot Party” and “I Drive Your Truck”, which seemed to get tons of radio play. However, this new single takes an entirely different route. This track is soft, slow and could easily be a wedding song. It’s beautiful, the lyrics are heartfelt and I could picture any man singing it softly to his wife, significant other or even a father to his daughter at her wedding. If this is any indication of the direction that country is going, you can definitely count me in as a fan. Either way, Lee Brice has created something that is truly beautiful, whether it be instrumentals, lyrics or meaning and I highly commend him for it. Check out the single when it hits airwaves this month!
