Artist: Thomas Rhett
Album: It Goes Like This
Rating: 9.8/10

For those of you familiar with me, you will know I’ve never been an incredibly huge fan of Country. However, country that borderlines rock or pop is ideal to me. Thomas Rhett falls into the rock category and his latest album, “It Goes Like This” is really impressive. From first listen, I found myself nodding and humming along, odd for me. The title track, especially, is one of the best on the album with it’s love-song like quality and catchy nature, you’re sure to have found yourself singing several times since it’s release. The new album, released today, is filled with catchy little numbers like this, but it goes beyond that. The instrumentals on this album are what really kept my interest, guitar riffs that you would normally find in the rock genre, with a little bit of twang added for that country feel. The lyrics and songs are somewhat typical of what you will find in any modern country album these days, but his voice is as unforgettable as the greats of the genre these days. One of the tracks that really caught my attention is called “Something to Do With My Hands” and, as you may have guessed, it’s got some sexual undertone to it, but it’s the flow of the song that will pull you in. This album is filled with gems like this, which are sure to become radio hits and propel this phenomenal singer to the #1 spot quickly. Go pick up your copy of “It Goes Like This” out today!
