The WCAR boys decided to make the very difficult decision to continue to tour after the passing of their bandmate Kyle Pavone back in 2018. This would be a very difficult decision for the band but they put their best feet forward and chose to hit the road and continue to tour despite the hardships they were facing at the time. They would hit the road and continue this tour in honor of Pavone. They performed on this tour for the foundation for Kyle Pavone. We are so happy and proud of the WCAR boys for continuing to strive for their best lives and to honor their fallen brother to the best of their abilities. if you would like to donate to the Kyle Pavone Foundation please do so at the link provided. https://kylepavonefoundation.org/

The Setlist for the Darkbloom Tour was as Follows:
- Cold Like War
-
((as chosen by the audience via poll))
-
((with Brand of Sacrifice))
The group wanted to get the crowd in as much participation as they could. They posted a phone number on the screen during the show to allow fans to text the number on the screen and be able to speak with the band. We Came As Romans also posted on social media a poll for fans to go on to and vote to create the setlist of the night, and to choose a song they they would definitely ply during the set of that night. On the night I was able to attend, Orlando Florida, at the House of Blues, the fans chose for the band to play, “Fade Away”.
WCAR would perform their song, “One More Day”, in honor of their late band member, Kyle Pavone. During the song, a memorial reel of videos of Pavone played in the background tugging on the heartstrings of everyone who was in attendance. Singer, Dave Stephens told the crowd that this song is very difficult for him to perform every night while on the tour but he wants to do right by Kyle and honor him the way he knows how, by dedicating a song to their brother and allowing the crowd and all their fans to sing their hearts out and let out all their emotions on the loss of Kyle. Stephens said to the crowds that that song was for anyone who has lost a family member, friend, loved one, anyone. That song goes out to them. To sing your heart out and let them hear it.
The energy of the show was absolutely unmatched to any show I have attended so far this year. We Came As Romans put on such an amazing show and they never cease to amaze those that are in attendance. All the way from the first song of the set when Dave jumped down onto the barricade and got in the faces of all his fans to shout his lungs out with them while confetti fell, to the very last song of the set where their energy and stage presence was nothing short of commanding and powerful. The set had finished and the band let stage and waited for the crowd to shout “One More Song”. After a few minutes, the band returned to the stage with a new look. We Came As Romans had stayed backstage and were replaced by the members of Brand of Sacrifice taking the whole crowd by shock. Brand of Sacrifice would perform title track, “Darkbloom”, with Stephens on stage. The fans were absolutely loving this surprise by the band. When I tell you t the flood felt like it was shaking, it felt like there was a category 4 hurricane happening, and I believe there was, hurricane WCAR/BOS was there to take over. Brand of Sacrifice exited the stage for the last song of the encore and the band returned to close out the night by playing Black Hole.
We Came As Romans let the House of Blues know that they were the biggest night of the tour thus far and they would return back to the House of Blues before we know it. The house lights went on and the crowd just stayed put. The fans did not want the band to be done performing. That was truly an incredible night, and an impressive night filled with electrifying performers and memories that fans will not forget. Thank you to everyone for their hard work and for having me out. It was a wonderful night at the House of Blues and getting to witness history being made by We Came As Romans as they tore down the house performing one of the largest shows in a newly remodeled venue. Can’t wait to catch them again in the future. Make sure you don’t miss their upcoming dates and tours. Stay up to date on We Came As Romans at https://iamdarkbloom.com/.
