Shattered Moon: The Continuation of Before I Turn’s “Claustrophobic” Concept

Before I Turn Release Explosive, Djent-y New Single, “Shattered Moon”
Song features Spiritbox vocalist, Courtney LaPlante and is the First Taste of New Album

A story of love, loss, betrayal and complete madness – Claustrophobic, the debut album from New England metal band Before I Turn still has fans on the edge of their seat. With wild twists, plenty of cinematic suspense and a killer soundtrack to back it, it’s no wonder why this album was at the top of many 2018 year-end lists. With the end leaving a lot of questions to be answered, they’ve returned to begin to piece that puzzle together. With the help of the haunting, unique Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante and BeheadingTheTraitors, “Shattered Moon” has arrived. This is the first taste from the band’s upcoming, yet-to-be-titled sophomore effort which, given this djent-y, progressive metal banger they’ve released, may show a change in direction. If you follow vocalist Alex Anglis on his social media channels, there have been no shortage of teasers. He’s shown full songs, ranging from aggressive, nostalgic metalcore to more melodic, somber tracks but has given little details (which makes it all the more worthwile). Check out the single below, courtesy of BeheadingTheTraitors, and stay tuned for more info on the album in the near future.
