“…their contagious tunes feature a great blend of melodic and dreamy vocals with rock riffs,”
– Loudwire

Bec Hollcraft has a healthy set of pipes that put her in a league with Paramore or Flyleaf, and the charged yet tuneful music brings to mind the best moments of The Used or Anberlin,”

Stars In Stereo hold nothing back onstage. With its high-volume and energetic live shows, the L.A. based group has won over large audiences nationwide while touring with the likes of HalestormBullet For My ValentineFlyleaf, Anberlin, Black Veil Brides, The Used and Foxy Shazam. Now the group aims to sonically scrawl their name across your speakers with their sophomore album, Leave Your Mark, to be released on June 17th via Hundred Handed Inc.

Comprised by Bec Hollcraft (vocals), Jordan McGraw (guitar), Frogs McCormack (bass) and Drew Langan (drums), Stars In Stereo excel at creating anthemic rock full of surging riffs and strong melodies, as displayed on their 2013 self-titled album. With Leave Your Mark, though, the quartet sought out to make an album that further enhanced the raw yet vibrant elements of their live performances on record. “We really made an effort to make smarter choices while working on the album’s tone, resulting in a more aggressive and bigger sound overall,” says McGraw about the recording session that took place in the band’s own studio. “I feel we definitely found the energy behind each song, and have set the bar even higher for our live shows.”

Leave Your Mark as a whole is a reflection of the band’s drive to quite literally leave their mark in today’s rock scene with their revitalized musical direction. Such determination is best captured in the album’s title track and first single. “The idea of leaving your mark on the world is something every human strives to do,” explains Hollcraft. “Creating music is how we leave our mark on the world, and this album is what we want to be remembered for.” Lyrically, Hollcraft adds that “We’ve always written songs that reflect the deepest truths from our personal lives with no humiliation. When I sing the lyric ‘I’m ugly till you fuck me’ in the title track, I’m trying to express that if you know what you want and know what makes you feel special, own it without feeling any shame.”

Stars In Stereo’s liberating messaging and lively energy has resonated strongly with people worldwide. “We’ve had numerous people come up to us at shows recently who have our lyrics or logo tattooed on them and we’ve never even been to that town before” Hollcraft shares.  “We really want the fans to feel as though they have a place to belong with our music and at our shows. So to see fans going out of their way to interact with us on Facebook or at shows is amazing.”

Starting June 10, in an effort to offer fans a sneak peak of Leave Your Mark, Stars In Stereo will embark on a virtual tour and premiere a live performance video of each song from the album through eleven different websites.
