Versus Me Unveil 360-Degree Video for “Just So You Know”, Debut Album Released This September
Featuring former members of Serianna (Bullet Tooth), Guardians and Crossing the Delaware, along with current Alesana guitarist Patrick Thompson, Versus Me is a band that is impressive by their line-up alone. When you hear their music, though, you’ll understand just why this band has created such a buzz in the music community. Their debut single “A(Tension)” featuring Escape the Fate frontman Craig Mabbitt was just a small taste of what these guys are all about. Sporting insanely catchy choruses, hooks for days and a heavier edge only when it’s needed… they’ve got something for all. Thursday, July 28th, they released their first 360-degree music video, created by Elizabeth Wadium of E. Wadium Productions and it promises fun for all, no matter what direction you’re looking. Whether it be a headbanging Tyrannosaurus Rex, vocalist James Milbrandt singing into a banana (yes, that happens) and more… they made sure to make it WORTH turning your phone different directions.
The song itself is about finding that one person in life who makes you a better person. Thompson sings “You put a song in my heart/that took me away/from everything/and filled in the empty space/where I would have probably remained/for the rest of my days.” While the song, in nature, is one of the poppier tracks on their new album, Changes, Milbrandt makes sure that you feel his presence with a heavier edge in the verses. You can check out the video below. While pre-orders for Changes (which arrives September 13th) haven’t arrived YET.. you can be sure that we’ll let you know when that happens. Keep an eye out for our review of the album in early September and trust us when we say, it’s a game-changer.
