Young Medicine Release Daring New Video for “Living Fiction”
Just a few weeks ago, Kansas City synth-rockers Young Medicine announced their debut album, Interlinked. Today, they’ve released the album’s second single, “Living Fiction,” along with a daring new video shot by Chance Parsons with Method Media and edited by guitarist Josh Hurst. This song has long been a fan favorite, with its crowd chanted “whoa-oh-oh’s” and an overall fun and bouncy vibe to it. On this track, like many of them, vocal duties are shared between Hurst and lead vocalist Bret Liber, with screams being handled by bassist Peter Romano. The video does a great job of capturing the raw energy that the band brings to the stage, as well as bringing out their nerdy side with a mock lightsaber battle at Union Station.
In addition to releasing the video, they have announced plans for their album release show which will take place August 16th at Aftershock in Merriam, KS. The line-up will include Young Medicine, MockLove, Famous for a Day and Essenger and promises to be a blast. Copies of the new album, along with new merch and plenty of surprises will be in store so be sure to get your tickets and get there early!
