Beautiful, well crafted, and full of passion brilliantly sums up the new track “Heaven” by up and coming artist Paul Bartolome.
The brand new single “Heaven” (feat. Jonny Craig, previously of Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa and Slaves) is out today, July 12th, and will be the start of a new era of music in Paul’s career – a new look and a new sound. “I feel like Heaven is the best representation of what I Want to be as an artist. I’ve never been so excited to release new music! Having Jonny be a part of it and taking the song to the next level with his vocals. Paul Bartolome came to the spotlight in December 2017 in the Duo Project – “Bad Fortune” with ex-Crown The Empire vocalist, David Escamilla. Once that project ran its course, Paul began working on a Solo Record called “Gravity.” Escamilla guested on a track called “Standing At The Edge.” The release was originally intended to be a bit of fun and just for the fans he’d gained during his time in “Bad Fortune”.
The release came out September 2018 and debuted at #16 in the iTunes Rock Charts with the lead single “Unbreakable” (feat Sophy Streater) Placing at #110. Due to the unexpected success of the record it became clear that Paul should go forward on his journey as a Solo Artist. Paul decided to release a fun, straightforward Rock EP on Xmas Eve 2018 as a thank you to the fans for the support and also as a sign to show that he will be continuing on as a solo artist. In the beginning of 2019 Paul headed out to America to record new music with Producer Matt Good (Stitched Up Heart, Asking Alexandria, Hollywood Undead) and got it mastered by Taylor Larsen (Periphery, Memphis May Fire). On the recording of “Heaven”, Paul explains
“Rick Wilde doubling up those huge Queen like BGV’s, Matt Good taking the song to new heights with his insane production and mix and then Taylor Larson coming through with the master that glues it all together. I couldn’t be happier with the end result and it’s the perfect single to kick off this brand new chapter in my career!“
